Thanks for that list. I think its a great starting point for teaching digital literacy.

A very useful list.

Should we not also tell them about taking care with what they post of Facebook, Youtube etc? I think Facebook is a wonderful tool, but I would be careful about what I add to my profile, and what personal information I allow people to see.

This list is a good start. Your advice on libraries could also include knowing how to access and use the high-quality online research resources your library has already paid for. These databases and news services are often better for research than public search engines, and provide access to more full text articles.
