Seb - the Faulkes telescope has been available for around five years - this link is on Sheffield College weblinks

The Faulkes Telescopes - http://faulkes-telescope.com/ - two large astronomical telescopes (2.0 m, reflection) for the exclusive use of schools. Users can book real-time half-hour slots on one of the two telescopes, situated in Hawaii and Australia.
