Thank you, Seb. I support online learning in the classroom, and am wary of online learning as a substitute for face-to-face instruction, especially for young children. College students use it well, and some high school students who are very motivated and able to persist with minimal adult support. But at the moment the online learning industry in the US is driven by profit, not education or learning or the best interests of children or society.

Seb,

I invite you and your readers to take part in a discussion of one of the most important educational studies ever done, Noel Wilson's "Educational Standards and the Problem of Error" at my new blog "Promoting Just Education for All" @ revivingwilson.org. The blog will be in the format of a post graduate seminar study with questions and comments being greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Duane Swacker
